WELCOME!

I am a professional sports broadcaster specializing in baseball play-by-play. Currently, you can listen to me as the play-by-play voice of the West Michigan Whitecaps, a Class-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

I was in college at The George Washington University when I got my first internship in professional baseball with the Double-A Bowie Baysox in 2004. It was not long before I realized that the combination of baseball and radio was the perfect niche for me. I promptly began a career that has taken me to multiple markets and included significant experience in the areas of broadcasting, media relations, sales, writing, and website administration - just to name a few. I have had many great experiences along the way, adding a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Northwestern University in 2008 and loving every minute of what I do.

Whether you have stumbled across this website by chance or come here by design, I hope you like what you see - not to mention what you hear! My goal is to eventually be the play-by-play voice for a major league team. So sit back, have a look around, take a listen... and ENJOY!

"Ben Chiswick is one of the top up-and-coming broadcasters in the business. His broadcast style and play-by-play skills are superb. His ability to stay with the play even when the action is very fast-paced is top-notch. When I listen to Ben, I have a picture of the action in my head... what's better than that?"
